So from what I understand, Paul and Kuma fought a lot throughout the series. It’s almost a running gag in Tekken to the point where Paul dropped out of the tournament in 5 after beating Kuma because he was so sick of the constant encounters. Me personally, I think it’s a curse casted on him that bears just hate him.

I only romance Tali, Garrus, and Liara. It's nice to see this when I do a Liara run. I really wish Wrex was an option 😂. Mordin too.

In past tournaments, the Mishima Zaibatsu was the prize of the other tournaments. It was mainly that way to for whoever was running it at the time to GOED the other "mishimas" into participating as a kinda thing held over their heads

Also quick lore of the characters: There's an ongoing beef between Paul and Kuma, Kuma sees Paul as rival because Paul beaten him in previous games. Yoshimitsu's beef with Bryan Fury is because their connection to Dr. bosconovich. Yoshimitsu saved Bosconovitch from MIshima zaibatsu in tekken 2 and become friends, heck even Bosconovitch upgraded Yoshimitsu's arm. while Bryan is a dead man that got ressurected as a Cyborg, he pretty much gone mad with the enhancements he got, but one time, he got saved by Bosconovitch and Yoshimitsu. Tho Bryan repaid Bosconovitch by attacking him, causing the beef. Zafina somehow sealed Azazel after Jin beats him in Tekken 6. It's never told in Tekken 6 but revealed in her tekken 7 reveal trailer at the least (as DLC) Asuka is Jin's distant cousin, she is part of the Kazama family.

I am hoping we get Old Man Kiryu from Like a Dragon 8: Infinite Wealth as a statue.

Jessica kept bringing up Reina which is ironic in some ways if it weren't obvious enough that she is lying (no surprise). Jessica pointed out some inconsistencies regarding her and basically she's not exactly good at acting or even trying to lie which is also kind a Funny that Jin didn't pay attention or he's just too lost in thought to even care but then she was using Mishima-style that she 'Learned' thru the internet and we already know that you can watch other martial arts and 'copy' them to some extent but the Mishima-style is an ancient style is not easy to even imitate. Also her dialogues are already a give away as she's obviously up to know good ... but again ... Jin just brushes it off because his main focus is Kazuya. I already know what Reina's REAL deal in the story but I won't spoil them for Jessica cause she's not familiar of the lore or rather at least the lore vid she reacted to earlier was not even ACCURATE, the dude spliced some details here ang there but the explanations are confusing so I wouldn't recommend it. I'm still missing some context here, at least half of Reina's objective is understandable but her end goal is still not very clear.

He wasn't evil in T6(and I wasn't a fan of what they did either) where the man was full of self loathing and so badly traumatized. Giving someone that amount of power..well it be bad. Leroy wouldhave been such a good father figure to jin <3

Yup you're getting the hang of it. We'll done. Now you need to improve on blocking and moving around and you'll be good. A few notes on some of the fights in the tournament. A couple of them are actually canonical, notably Paul VS Kuma and Hoshi vs Bryan. They have a long standing rivalry againsy one another. It's cool that they included try hat in the tournament :) Leo is a trans character. Yah for representation of our community 🤍 Hwoarang does seem to like Jin, doesn't he? People have been shipping the two ffor years lol. Zafina absorbed Azazell in her arm after Jin failed to destroy him in TK6. I suspect Kaz must've used his demonic powers to life her out. Leroy is cool. I get the intention behind the whole fight with Jon. But that dialogue is sooo corny it makes me cringe every time 😂 Asuka is Jin's cousin... Supposedly... But Harada claims it's complicated. In TK5, she was shown to have the power to suppress evil like Jun. But they never went anywhere with that unfortunately. Last but not least, ch6 is on of my favq just for the fact that we get to play as Kaz. I frigging love him if that wasn't clear enough lol. But I can't play him to save my life. He's too technical. So I watch others do magic with his gameplay instead. He's an explosive character and that fight doesn't even show him at his peak. You'll see soon enough.

so azazel was the final boss of tekken 6 and is technically the reason jin started ww3 (don't ask, it's stupid). iirc there was nothing advertising he'd have an appearance in this game so him dropping in and being a full boss was a huge but delightful surprise. mostly delightful, some people who were kids when t6 dropped in 2007 were having war flashbacks lmfao his theme goes so hard. this game is really effective in how it uses music for both nostalgia and storytelling.

With Lili's self-taught style, the story of that is her father doesn't want her in any sort of violence, so he dismisses her from fighting. She pretty much taught herself to fight from gymnastics and street fighting. Her moveset is elegant and graceful though, which I like. I used to play her in T6

7:32 They've never been consistent with the whole devil thing. In the first 3 Tekkens Devil was a separate being Kazuya made a deal with to survive Heihachi throwing him off the cliff as a kid. In Tekken 2 Kazuya and Devil fighting for control allowed Heihachi to beat him and throw him into the volcano. But starting in 4 it became a special gene.
